Hi, I hate for this to sound like spam, but I was recently contacted by someone from this message board who I was able to help get their content removed fast.
They said this might be a great place to help some people out.

Just a little information about myself. My name is Frank and I run the website http://www.DMCA.com
As many of you know DMCA (or the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) was setup to help people like you get your copyrighted content removed fast.

I only charge $39.95 and I guarantee to have your content removed within 72 hours or you get a 100% refund no questions asked.  I have plenty of testimonials if people are interested. But you have nothing to lose. If you are tired and frustrated with dealing with thieves who will not remove your content then contact me.
Thanks,
Frank Rose

I can't believe it possible, but if they try hard to nag the thief  for few months, he may change some words... not in 3 days or they take great chances of returning a lot of money, keeping a bit...

try to hire me to do that at Ukranian sites. I know how to push somethings in Ukraine.

But you must prove you are legit owner first.

Just to say I used Frank's services, 40 dollars or 25 quid well spent!

My site content was blatantly copied but I really didn't have the time to deal with the thief myself. Frank knows what he is talking about, always kept me informed and got the job done - the offending site was taken down within 3 days.

Just an update for anyone.
The DMCA Takedown service offered above is no longer offered at $39.95. The price has gone up to $99.

I do have some new programs available though. For example we have a new "Protected by DMCA" button program that recently started.

You can go to http://www.DMCA.com/Logos.aspx
There you can get embed codes for buttons you can put on your site that will help ward off thieves.

Well, I am glad that I finally found such a service. I had stopped article marketing mainly because of the thieves. I was kinda frustrated with having to hunt down so many content thieves regularly. It would be great to outsource this to an expert. Now I can start publishing my articles again on my fav article directories. Thanks a lot

DMCA makes one hell of a claim.
Lets look at the facts, the English language is over 1,500 years old and is the second most spoken language on earth. So unless you use lots of new words it is very unlikely that anything you write is unique.
Americans seem to think you can copyright the English language, you can't. Take it to a UK court and it will be thrown out of court, for the simple reason UK law states you can not copyright the English language.
I get many emails from people in the US claiming I have stolen content, when you read what they are claiming I stole it will be something as common as "I woke up this morning and looked out of my window, it was a beautiful sunny day". That is just a example, but it shows why you cannot copyright the English language it must have been wrote millions of times. Do you think people should not be allowed to write such things?

DMCA might also want to change it's name as DMCA has been used by the Devon Medieval Combat Alliance for the last 15 years where DMCA is only 10 years old.

It's amazing how many plagiarisers actually think that the above argument is somehow a valid refutation of the copyright concept.

It is a very valid argument and you don't need to be a plagiariser to work that out.
I find it funny that in years to come Americans will be scared to write anything for fear that some one has wrote it before.

Silly American here, checking to see if anyone knows if I can safely use the phrase "...the play's the thing" and feel absolutely certain noone has ever used it before.  It seems to sound familiar to me, but just can't seem to place it... I'm fairly sure I've thought it up meself and besides, it's four simple words, even if it has been used I'm sure noone could claim originality from four such innocuously common words?  Could they?
