I was wondering about the international applicability of DMCA. I understand its use is becoming more established in the US, but what about in other jurisdictions? Are there parallel procedures there? Thanks, Walter

I have heard, though I cannot confirm, that many out-of-US web hosts will accept (that is, act on) a DMCA notice from a US-based victim. If you can't find information to the contrary, the DMCA at least provides a format for your complaint to the host. Just my opinion, of course; I'm not a lawyer, and I could easily be wrong.... Eliz.
